The Draft Taxation Bills have been released on 28 July 2021 for public comment!
Among other drafts, The National Treasury and the South African Revenue Service published the 2021 draft Taxation Laws Amendment Bill and the 2021 draft Tax Administration Laws Amendment Bill. These draft Tax Bills contain tax proposals made in the 2021 Budget on 24 February 2021.
The purpose of this webinar is to create an awareness of the key proposed amendments in terms of these Draft Bills and their impact, as well as to convey when each selected amendment is cited to become effective. This will allow participants to note which amendments could affect their business, from what date, and to then plan accordingly in further detail.
The sessions are not a detailed technical dive into each of the proposed amendments covered, but will cover the following selected key information:
- high-level discussion on the background of the section or paragraph discussed.
- reason for the amendment.
- impact of the amendment.
- effective date of the amendment.
- any insight or comment we have on the amendment.
The webinar will contribute to 3 hours CPD/CPE.
